Lessons will start on Wednesday, 22nd April. Please note that the programme will continue through Ramadan as normal.

Arabic work for Years 1-3 can be collected at school on Sundays, and for Years 4-6 on Mondays.

We are all doing the best we can in the circumstances given. Stay safe.

Dear Parents,

We are living through a time that none of us has ever experienced before. Our world is changing and we must change with it. Online learning is a necessary step we have to take. It may not be the same as classroom teaching but it is a way forward.

With the strong support and help of the BES, we have constructed platforms from which our staff can now give online lessons. You will need to download the programme  onto a computer. In order to do this, the BES has kindly allowed us to use their site to show us how. Please go to www.bes-edu.org. You will see in red letters BES CRISIS MANAGEMENT SITE. To enter the guest area you will need to put in the password which will be sent to you. From there you can download the Zoom programme. If you have any questions about how to do it, look at the ‘Support’ page. There are clear instructions. The teachers’ codes will also be sent by text to you. Once again, our thanks to the BES for allowing us to have access.

Our timetable will be posted on 19/4 and you will be informed of which group your child is in. Please make sure that your child has access to a computer at those times, and has a quiet place to sit and attend the lessons.

Please ensure that during the lesson, your child has all the necessary books and tools i.e. notebooks, text books, pencils, rubbers, etc. He/She should be in a quiet place where he/she can concentrate and participate undisturbed.

If you have any questions, please call me at 092-3028162 or send an email to the school at bsbenghazi@gmail.com and I will do my best to answer as soon as possible.

This is a new experience for all of us. I thank you for your patience and continued support.

Valerie Turner
