Book Week - Day 2
Day 2 held more activities for the whole school. We had a 'Where's Wally?' search. Small pictures of Wally had been placed all around the school. Normally Wally wears a red and white striped top, but we made him have stripes the colours of our house teams and so each house team had to find the Wallys with their own colours. When we thought they were all found (and some were found days later!), the teams had to work out the title of a well-known fairy story using the letters hidden at the back of the picture. Once the title was discovered, the teams went off to read the books; some read by a teacher, others read by the children themselves. Everyone enjoyed both searching for Wally and listening to the stories.
