Y6 Assembly: Poetry
Year 6 have been studying poems and their various forms. Some are humourous, others serious; some rhyme, some don't. In our assembly, the children recited a poem about 'Chocolate Cake'; it doesn't rhyme but it was funny, and then acted out the poem 'Little Red Riding Hood' by Roald Dahl - a poem that rhymes and is funny! He imagined a different version of the classic fairy tale. Well done to our performers. There were also certificates. Congratulations!
